The L.A. Fire BoatThe parts for this Fire Boat were commissioned by Ron Burchett for sale to Nichols Brothers Shipyard, Whitby Island, Washington, USA, and private sales to individuals as well. Drawings came from the architect (Rob Allen) in AutoCAD. I translated them, nested the parts, and cut them out in aircraft plywood. The windows cut-outs were then lifted onto another drawing for construction in 1/16 inch, 1.5 mm. Plexiglas. Approximately 45 incheslong. This boat is currently in the Los Angeles City Hall.
